These terms outline the basis on which Vrenty Car provides car rental services in Mauritius. Full rental terms for each vehicle are shown during booking.
Bookings and payment
Reservations are confirmed by email. No deposit is required for no-deposit vehicles, and payment is made in cash or by debit card at pickup unless stated otherwise for a specific car. Prices shown at booking are the all-in prices payable.
Driver requirements
Drivers must hold a valid driving licence. An International Driving Permit is recommended where the licence is not in the Latin alphabet. Any minimum-age or young-driver conditions are shown at booking.
Insurance
Insurance is included with every rental. Coverage details, any excess and optional extras are displayed for each vehicle before you confirm.
Use of the vehicle
The vehicle must be returned in the condition it was provided, subject to normal wear, at the agreed time and place, and driven in accordance with Mauritian law and the specific rental terms.
Cancellations
Cancellation terms are shown for each vehicle at the time of booking. Many cars offer free cancellation up to a stated point before pickup.
